Dr David Connah
MBBS
Dr David completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and went on to spend six formative years with Queensland Health, working across the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Rockhampton Base Hospital and Moura Hospital. He later bought a long established general practice in Kingaroy and ran it for eight years, before returning to Brisbane in 1999. For the past 24 years, he has been a much-loved GP at Carindale Medical Clinic until its recent closure.
With broad experience and a genuine interest in all aspects of general practice, Dr David has a particular passion for preventative health and supporting patients to stay well over the long term. He is committed to delivering high-quality, thorough, and collaborative care.
Outside of medicine, David is married with three adult sons. He’s a proud and vocal Queensland Reds supporter, a former member of the Australian Army Reserve, and enjoys gardening, camping and travel. He’s also old enough to remember seeing Clem Jones as the Curator at the Gabba — a fun piece of trivia he enjoys sharing with longtime locals!
Dr David looks forward to continuing to care for families and individuals in a supportive, relationship-focused practice environment.
