Join us for our very first Health Talk from our new seminar series, Practical Medicine: Empowering Women, Families, and Athletes.

In February, The Practice at Clem Jones Centre presents “Heads Up: Understanding Concussion,” proudly supported by The Carina Leagues Club.

This engaging session will cover:

  • The current head injury guidelines for athletes of all ages.
  • What a concussion is, including potential complications and consequences.
  • How general practitioners and physiotherapists manage concussions in the community.

If you are an athlete, a coach, or a parents of an athlete, this is your chance to gain valuable information on head injuries and concussions.

Dr Tess Higgins, specialist GP from The Practice at Clem Jones Centre, and Alex Downie, Physiotherapist at Clem Jones Physio and Rehab, will present this talk and be available for questions following the presentation.
