If you are unable to attend your appointment, we kindly ask that you cancel at least 2 hours before your appointment on the day, or ideally with at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient.
You can cancel your appointment by:
- Replying ‘NO’ to your SMS reminder,
- Via the AMS App, or
- Calling us on (07) 3522 1868 during business hours.
A $50 non-attendance fee will apply if you miss your appointment.
Why This Policy Matters
Each missed appointment is a missed opportunity for another patient in need. The doctors have a limited number of appointments each day, and a non-attended booking is time that cannot be recovered. Timely cancellations help us offer those appointments to patients on the waiting list.
